Research in support to the revision of General Recommendation No. 19 (1992) by the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and drafting of the updated General Recommendation No. 35 (2017) on Gender-based Violence against Women.

Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights
Provided support for the review of national guidelines on the investigation and prosecution of sexual violence in Moldova, according to the international standards, and developed guidelines for prosecutors as well as recommendations on modifications of the Moldovan Criminal Code regarding crimes of sexual violence.

I teach the subject Gender and Criminal Justice System to students of Criminology and international students in the area of social sciences. This subject includes the study of the relations between gender and crime, feminist criminology, gender-based violence, gender stereotypes, gender and hate crimes, sexual crimes, criminal justice and gender-based stereotypes, women offenders, etc.

(2013 – 2018)
I was Adjunct Lecturer on the subjects of International Protection of Human Rights and Gender and Law addressed to Law students in their final year. I also taught the subject Feminist Analysis of Law to students of the Inter-universitary Master’s Degree in Women, Gender and Citizenship Studies.

(2016 – 2018)
I have been teaching the subject Gender and Criminal Justice System at the Master’s degree on Legal-Criminal Sociology (Sociología Jurídico Penal) from 2016 to 2018. This is an international program agreed between the Universities of Barcelona (UB, Spain), the University for International Cooperation (UCI, Costa Rica), with the sponsorship of the Inter-American Institute for Human Rights (IIDH), the Latin American Institute for Prevention of the Delinquency and Treatment of Offenders (ILANUD) and the Bar Association of Lawyers and Lawyers of Costa Rica.

I was Adjunct Lecturer on the subjects Criminality, Environment and Prevention in the Master’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Policy and Criminal Sociology.
I also taught in the Master’s degree in Sociology, the subject Security, Technology and Social Exclusion.
