I teach the subject Gender and Criminal Justice System to students of Criminology and international students in the area of social sciences. This subject includes the study of the relations between gender and crime, feminist criminology, gender-based violence, gender stereotypes, gender and hate crimes, sexual crimes, criminal justice and gender-based stereotypes, women offenders, etc.

This is an international program agreed between the Universities of Barcelona (UB, Spain), the University for International Cooperation (UCI, Costa Rica), with the sponsorship of the Inter-American Institute for Human Rights (IIDH), the Latin American Institute for Prevention of the Delinquency and Treatment of Offenders (ILANUD) and the Bar Association of Lawyers and Lawyers of Costa Rica.
